Cindi Matthews is a Mid-Life Baby-Boomer wife; mom of 2 grown daughters; and has 2 young grandchildren. She’s a native of New England, lives in an historic small town in Connecticut. Her interests include Cooking, Vintage Collectibles, Shopping and of course, Writing!

Cindi started blogging in 2007 as the author of Frugal New England Kitchen and Moomettes Magnificents, having grown to enjoy meeting new friends and readers from all over the globe.

She has enjoyed creating cooking and baking since she was a teenager and is the author of Frugal New England Kitchen. Here she shares advice focusing on Grandparents and Grandchildren, Family Stories, extreme coupons and frugal living, recipes, her pets and helpful hints from the hearth of a Yankee New England Kitchen.

Cindi is the sole author and owner of the multi-generational Moomette’s Magnificents blog which covers Parenting, Grandparent and Grandchildren stories and advice, Work-At-Home subjects, Blogging Resource tips and techniques, as well as Social Networking and Twitter tips. Cindi’s blog was recently nominated as a finalist in the Lifestyle Category 2011 by CBS Connecticut Local as well as nominated by WE Magazine as one of the 101 Women Bloggers to Watch for 2010.

Both Cindi and her husband of over 30 years enjoy travel and family daytrips. As a travel blogger she has written for many media familiarization trips (FAMs) sharing events, attractions, restaurant recommendations and photography on her Travel and Photography section as well as her travel website at Daytrip Travel New England.

Cindi has written Product Reviews since 2007 from the viewpoint of an experienced Baby Boomer Mom and Grandmom who’s “Been Around the Block” and was selected as one of only three Connecticut women to represent Chevy as a CT Chevy Girl on the Go Brand Ambassador. She has also been a Brand Ambassador for Jockey Sport and the Hershey’s Summer Celebrations campaign. She has represented national brand companies such as The Home Depot, Disney, Dove, Keurig and Melissa and Doug.
