St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner in March, and I like to make Shepard’s Pie with Guinness Stout as it adds a nice flavor and cooks out.

If it hasn’t already, soon the snow will begin to fly. To me, that means I’ll be hibernating, cocooning and turning to comfort food. I’d like to share my mother-in-law’s recipe on how to cook parsnips, a family favorite winter vegetable, Parsnip Saute casserole.

The holidays are a special time of year, when everyone pulls out their favorite dessert recipes. One of my old tried and true standbys is this Chocolate Cherry Fruitcake that starts with a box mix. Of course, if you’re like me, I’m always looking for a unique new recipe to add to my recipe collection.

Every family has a favorite traditional Christmas or Holiday dessert dish. This recipe for German Chocolate Angel Whipped Cream Pie brings back childhood memories for my husband and his family. It’s made with real whipped cream, and dark Baker’s German Semi Sweet Chocolate – decadent!
