Nakano Original Rice Vinegar

Rice Vinegar Recipes

There’s still a bit of summer daylight left before we turn the clocks back and soon we’ll be celebrating the long Labor Day Weekend.  Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars are all natural, low calorie, non fat, gluten free and have no preservatives.  When splashed with Nakano, your guests will be asking you for your recipes!

NAKANO LogoNakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars also have 50% less sodium then their competition!

Here’s some quick tips and suggestions to get you thinking about planning your Labor Day party, or last few camping trips of the summer:

  • Splash on sliced fresh tomatoes
  • Splash on green leafy salads
  • Mix with oil and splash over salad
  • Stir into cole slaw recipes
  • Toss into bean salads
  • Splash on hot vegetables
  • Splash on grilled, baked or roasted potatoes
  • Season chicken or beef stir-fries
  • Splash on white rice
  • Splash on pasta dishes
  • Splash on grilled or broiled seafood
  • Marinate beef/pork before cooking
  • Splash on grilled or barbecued chicken
  • Add a unique taste to sauces
  • Seasoned Rice Vinegar can be substituted for wine vinegar

Penne Vinegar SaladI’d also like to share an easy recipe that works well either prepared hot, or served cold:

Penne with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese

8 oz. uncooked penne pasta
1 can (14-1/2 ox.) diced tomatoes in juice, drained
1/3 c. pitted kalamata or ripe olives, halved
¼ c. NAKANA Seasoned Red Wine vinegar Italian Herb, or Seasoned Rice vinegar
Red Pepper
¼ c. chopped basil or Italian parsley
2 TBl. Olive oil
½ tsp. Each salt and resh ground pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. (4 oz.) crumbled feta cheese

Cook pasta as package directs; drain and keep warm.  In a large bowl, stir together tomatoes, olives, rice vinegar, basil, oil, salt, pepper and garlic.  Add pasta and cheese; toss well.  Serve warm or at room temperature.  Garnish with additional basil, if desired.

Serves 4 as a main dish or 8 as a vinegar salad.

This dish makes an excellent main dish, or cover and chill for a delicious salad.
