Travel Tips - Chatham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod is famous for the Chatham Lighthouse but also has many interesting visitors!
Summer in Chatham Harbor Cape Cod
When I was vacationing up at the Cape with my daughter, charming son-in-law and the grandkids, I took them to visit Chatham Harbor. Chatham harbor and fishing pier has a wonderful fish market where you can watch the fishing fleet bring in their catch-of-the-day haul!
Cape Cod Harbor Seals
When seals are in the harbor, Great White Sharks aren’t too far behind! The only thing sharks are good for, in my mind, is using as a shark oil barometer to predict a hurricane!
This charming seaside town is a lovely spot to view the Chatham Lighthouse too.
Occasionally many of Chatham’s beautiful beaches have been closed because of shark sitings about 100 yards offshore, Great Whites just like the movie Jaws included!
When you're done watching the seals and fishing boats come in, grab some fresh seafood at the little fish house next to the docks and then take in a Cape Cod Baseball League game !
