Right before my grandson was born, I headed up north on I-91 with my daughter and little granddaughter to see the butterflies.
The conservatory is kid friendly, (although strollers are not allowed in the conservatory nor Gift Shop). I was pleased to see that Senior Discounts were available !
The museum features a cafe restaurant, and many educational exhibits. There’s over 4,000 exotic and also domestic butterflies in a luscious tropical environment. We enjoyed looking at the ponds with brightly colored fish, and having butterflies land on our hands !
We spent time walking around, looking at all of the tropical flowers, and ended with a visit to the Gift Shop. I picked up a Butterfly Feeder to try to attract butterflies to my garden at home!
Magic Wings isn’t far from the Yankee Candle Flagship Store in Deerfield, Massachusetts – so we also got in some quality time shopping there. One can never have enough Yankee Candle scents !
If you’re looking for an easy Day Trip or Staycation, Magic Wings is open year-round. Check their website for holiday closings.
