Ray of Light Farm - Animal Rescue
While babysitting the grandkids one summer morning I thought it would be fun for them to visit the farm.
The kids said they'd been there before for an Easter Egg Hunt, and my youngest daughter and I had been there last fall to take her two littles.
Farm Animals and Party Events
We were able to tour the farm at our own pace. I like to mention to the kids that the animals are rescue, and this is their new home. My grandkids were encouraged to make a donation in the donation box to help house and feed the animals.
We saw horses, donkeys, chickens, pheasants, llamas, and goats. Last time there was a turtle and turkey there.
This time there was a pre-school group visiting, and we tagged on the end and were able to help feed the guinea pigs lettuce, which the grandkids enjoyed doing.
The farm also has a party room and sponsors events. The kids can tour the stables, and wagon and pony rides are offered.
Handmade goodness for your parties from Moomettes Crochet Shop!
A non-profit organization, Parking and Admission are free, but again, donations are encouraged.
