Victorian Architecture in Hartford
Some of these historical homes and apartments along Capitol Avenue in Hartford are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Several are now places of business, or law offices.
I took these scenic photos of many of the beautiful brownstone buildings, doors and ornate wrought iron gates when I worked in downtown Hartford while on a lunch walking tour of Connecticut’s capitol.
Connecticut was known for its Brownstone Quarries - located in Portland, Connecticut.
